what are wanderlust + co’s jewels made of?

our jewels are handcrafted using high-quality materials like recycled brass, stainless steel, or 925 sterling silver, plated in 14k–24k gold or rhodium. many pieces are finished with e-coating to preserve shine. natural stones and pearls may have slight variations—part of the charm of handmade pieces. exact materials are listed on each product page.

are your jewels nickel-free?

yes! all our pieces are lead-free, cadmium-free, and nickel-free—safe for sensitive skin.

will the jewelry last long?

non-vermeil pieces: our jewels are designed to be shower-safe and resistant to tarnishing. with proper care, they’ll shine for a long time avoid contact with alcohol-based products like perfumes and sanitizers. use a soft brush or our jewel polishing cloth to clean them gently. for never-take-off pieces, explore our 925 sterling silver range. demi-fine pieces: they keep their shine a lot longer than gold plated jewels. BUT to keep your precious jewelry the way they are, a bit of TLC goes a long way: keep your vermeil jewels in a cool, dry place, ideally in your Wanderlust + Co pouch. avoid harsh chemicals like cleaners and hand sanitizers. clean them after each wear with our Jewel Polishing Cloth (gently!) to keep them looking their best.

how long will it take for my personalized engraved jewelry to ship?

please allow at least 14 working days from the date that your order was placed for your product to ship. all orders containing personalized engraved jewelry will be placed on hold and shipped altogether when your personalized jewelry is ready.

is warranty provided?

Our demi-fine and fine jewelry comes with a lifetime care plan (applicable for online & in-store purchases!) for any manufacturing defects. it doesn’t cover damage from everyday wear, accidents, or improper use, but don’t worry—we’re here to help with repairs at affordable rates.
